We are looking to acquire small businesses and because we are planning to actively participate in their management, we have a particular interest in companies located in New England, or a quick and easy flight away from Boston. Our past experiences have been mostly in high tech, software, light manufacturing and finance but we are interested in other sectors where these experiences could add value.
In particular, based on our past involvement in high tech, and focus on systems integration, software, and the IOT, we are a team well suited to bring digitization into the more traditional businesses that have not yet fully leveraged these into their operations.
Finally, our past experiences as active investors in multiple startups and young companies can be the specifically useful in growth by acquisitions or roll-up scenarios. That makes companies that could be used as platforms for such strategies especially attractive to us.
